CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY
For all exports to Algeria, a proof of product veri cation by way of a Certi cate of Conformity (CoC) (also referred as “Certi cat de Controle de Qualité” - CoQ) should be provided for Customs clearance, to ensure that the products meet the Algerian legal and regulatory requirements.
This obligation is enforced by the law 09-03 dated 25/02/2009 and the decree 05-467 dated 12/12/2005, on conditions and procedures of conformity control of imported goods at Customs. The Conformity Assessment of the regulated products is based on inspection and evaluation of test documents.
The key elements undertaken in Algeria Certi cation are:
To apply for a Certi cate of Conformity (CoC/CoQ) you will need to supply Intertek with:
• CompletedRequestforCerti cation(RfC)Formwhichis available on our website
• AcopyofCommercial/FinalInvoice
• LetterofCredit(L/C)
• QualityManagementSystemCerti cates(ISO9001,
ISO 22000, ISO/TS 16949 etc.), if available
• TestDocumentssuchasTestReports,TestCerti catesetc. • Packing list, Bill of Lading, if available
• Account Application Form applicable for new clients
Upon receipt, of the above listed documents, Intertek will arrange with you a mutually convenient date, time and location for the shipment inspection to be carried out.
This can normally be arranged within a maximum of 48 hours of your initial call to us. Your CoC/CoQ will then be issued within a maximum of 24 hours of the inspection if
