Essential Requirements for Certi cation:
Marking and labelling
• TheBrandname/LogoandCountryofOriginoftheproductsshould be marked legibly, indelibly and directly on the product as well as on its packaging, etc.
• InstructionManual-InEnglishorinEnglishandSetswana language as a minimum
• Othermarkingrequirementsapplydependingonthetypeof product
Regulated products
• Regulatedproductsincludebutarenotlimitedto:Electrical and Electronics products; Automotive Glass & Tyres; Regulators for Lique ed Petroleum Gas; Cement; Protective Safety Equipment; Food & Food Products and Plastic & Rubber Products.
Fees
• Applicablefeesarepaidbythepartyrequestingcerti cation. The Conformity Certi cate fees basically cover the cost of evaluation, shipment inspection and certi cate issuance. All other fees pertaining to testing, quality audit, etc are paid separately by the party requesting certi cation.
