CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY
Agence GAbonaise de NORmalisation (AGANOR) has implemented guidelines called the Programme Gabonais d’Evaluation de la Conformité (PROGEC) for exports to Gabon.
It is a conformity assessment and veri cation procedure applied to speci c goods/products
in the exporting country, to ensure their compliance with applicable Gabon Technical Regulations and Mandatory Standards or approved equivalents. Consignments subject to PROGEC must obtain a Certi cate of Conformity (CoC) for Customs clearance in Gabon.
The key elements undertaken in the programme are:
• Physicalinspectionpriortoshipment
• Sampling,testingandanalysisinaccredited
laboratories
• QualityAuditofproductionprocesses
• Documentaryreviewofconformitywithregulations
To apply for a Certi cate of Conformity you will need to supply Intertek with:
• CompletedRequestforCerti cation(RfC)Form,which is available on our website
• AcopyofCommercial/FinalInvoice
• LetterofCredit(L/C),ifavailable
• QualityManagementSystemCerti cates(ISO9001,ISO
22000, ISO/TS 16949 etc.), if available
• Test Documents such as Test Reports, Test Certi cates,
etc.
• Packinglist,BillofLading,ifavailable
• AccountApplicationFormapplicablefornewclients Upon receipt of the above listed documents, Intertek will arrange with you a mutually convenient date, time and location for the shipment inspection to be carried out. Thiscannormallybearrangedwithinamaximumof48 hours of your initial call to us. Your CoC will then be issued within a maximum of 24 hours of the inspection if the results are satisfactory.
For regular shipment of the same products to Gabon, you may nd it bene cial to apply for Registration/Licensing.
