Essential Requirements for Certi cation:
Marking and Labelling
Marking shall be in English or in English and Kiswahili. The marking shall be clearly discernible, legible and indelible.
The marking requirements shall include the following:
• CountryofOriginontheproductoronitsimmediatepackaging
• Manufacturer’sname,addressand/ortrademark
• Othermarkingrequirementsapplydependingonthetypeofproduct
Instruction manuals must be in English or in English and Kiswahili
Regulated Products
• ThePVoCregulatedproductlistisavailableon www.intertek.com/government/programmes/kenya
• ItcanalsobeobtainedfromIntertekO cesonrequest Fees
• Applicablefeesarepaidbythepartyrequestingcerti cation.TheCoC
fees basically cover the cost of evaluation, shipment inspection and certi cate issuance. All other fees pertaining to testing, quality audit, etc are paid separately by the party requesting certi cation.
